ELLIVIA GOLD
WRITER/ZARA. Ellivia Gold is the writer and star of The Quiet Between. An award-winning 17-year-old actor, singer, dancer, writer, and mental health advocate, she studies at a professional performing arts school in New York City. A passionate storyteller from a young age, Ellivia began writing The Quiet Between during the height of the pandemic, transforming uncertainty into a story of connection and resilience.
Ellivia received the Brightside Film Festival Rising Star Award for The Quiet Between, which also earned her RUSH Youth Film Festival nominations for Best Story and Best Performance by a Lead Actress. She is a Young Artist Academy nominee for Best Actress for the comedic short Planting An Unwanted Seed.
Her screen credits include a national television commercial; the award-winning Queen of Magic, directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Stacey Maltin and recognized by the Lighthouse International Film Festival, Greenpoint Film Festival, and Big Apple Film Festival; Immutable Uncertainties, directed by Arielle Friedman and produced by Ser Nocturna, which received the NFFTY Audience Award and was an official selection of the Lower East Side Film Festival; Rapids, an award winning short film opposite Homer Gere (Euphoria); and the upcoming psychological drama Cassandra, in which she plays the title role.
Stage credits include the Off-Broadway productions “A Christmas Carol” at The Players Theatre and “You & Me” at the A.R.T. Theater, for which she received critical recognition.
Dedicated to mental health advocacy and girl empowerment, Ellivia founded a social media platform focused on empowering girls and has been featured by Etre Girls. The Quiet Between is currently in development as a feature film.

SAM EVOY
DIRECTOR/EDITOR. Sam Evoy is a director, writer and executive producer based in Brooklyn, New York originally from Michigan. She executive produced Lucy Shulman, (Tribeca Film Festival), directed Cornflower (Palm Springs International Short Fest) and (Mirra, Woodstock Film Festival), a short that examines psychology in the digital age. Sam came up in the industry as a script supervisor on major television shows and features (Search Party, FBI, Severance, Scarpetta, Reality, Eighth Grade, Focker-in-Law). As a director, she is interested in creating content that explores mental health and a female perspective. Her directing style is actor based, experimenting with backstory and psyche of the characters.
GILANA LOBEL
PRODUCER. Gilana Lobel is an independent Producer and DGA Production Manager based in Brooklyn, New York. Throughout her career, she has worked on feature films such as The Skeleton Twins (Independent), Lucky Grandma (AT&T/Tribeca), Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Netflix), and Kiss of the Spider Woman (Independent) as well we television series including Person Of Interest (FX)and Russian Doll (Netflix). She develops and co-produces both short format and feature narrative film with producing partner, Oliver Brooks, and their production company Go Be One Motion Pictures. Their short films have screened at numerous film festivals including but not limited to Tribeca, SXSW, Hollyshorts, Seattle International Film Festival, Brooklyn Shorts Film Festival, and Hamptons International Film Festival among others. These films include Cornflower, Imaginary Friend, Let Me Go (The Right Way), and Visitors. Gilana is also co-author of Keys to the Production Office: Unlocking Success as an Office Production Assistant in Film and Television” (Routledge 2022), the first ever handbook focusing on production office operations for film and television.
RILEY NIGHTINGALE
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY. Riley Nightingale brings more than a decade of experience behind the camera. She specializes in narrative and documentary, seeking to support directors in telling stories that draw the audience into experiences of lush intimacy. Recent work includes the iconic trans rom-com feature Something You Should Know About Me directed by Andy Fidoten, screening at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival and Frameline, and the surreal dramatic feature Women in the Closet, directed by Craig Webster, produced by Amenya Makuku. A climber and outdoor adventure enthusiast, Riley introduces a high level of physicality and reverence in her camera work. As a queer woman of transgender experience, her work is deeply person-focused, always attempting to build empathy between onscreen characters and the audience. Her personal projects celebrate stories of queerness, gender diversity, reconnection, and imagining (im)possible futures. Directors who work with Riley are offered a truly collaborative and supportive experience. Her artistic process is built on trust and relationship building – she sees her function as that of a film doula, engaging a lifetime of diverse experience to execute the vision of the Director through a collaborative, holistic process. Riley firmly believes that who is behind the lens matters – in the stories that get told and the ways in which they are shared. She brings a list of Black, indigenous, person of color, queer, and gender-diverse crew to all projects and always seeks to build a diverse team.
JAKE WHITE
COLORIST. Jake White started at Company 3 in 2016 as a client services representative, where he focused on client and colorist in-session needs for a year. He quickly moved into the feature color department, becoming Senior Colorist Tom Poole’s lead assistant. Through working with Poole and learning from other colorists, he moved into a dailies/Jr colorist role, wherein he colored dailies for films like A Quiet Place: Day One and Netflix’s upcoming feature Rez Ball while also working as an additional colorist on Euphoria (S2). During this time, White was also the lead colorist on projects including Blonde, The Slumber Party, Bleacher’s music video for “Tiny Moves”, as well as the short “Poof”, which competed at Cannes in 2023, and the feature Memes & Nightmares that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2024. Originally from Connecticut, White became interested in film from an early age and later went to study film production at Emerson College in Boston. While there, he focused mainly on cinematography while pursuing studies in analog photography. In joining Company 3 after graduating, he wanted to continue focusing on film while diving more into crafting images and working closely with cinematographers. Through learning color grading while also working in photography, White has been able to build on his technical skills as a colorist while creating looks that resonate with the filmmakers and with audiences.

ALEXANDRA ROONEY
MILA. Alexandra Rooney is a teen actress based in the NYC area. She is thrilled to join the cast of The Quiet Between! On camera credits include: Mr Robot (TV), Six Miles at Sea (Film), Heart of Gold (Film), Crossing the Lines (Film), and Happy Thanksgiving (Film) directed by actress Brooklynn Prince. Alexandra was awarded “Best Young Actress” for her role in Happy Thanksgiving by the Independent Short Awards in LA and a “Rising Star” award by the Brightside Film Festival in NJ for her role in Heart of Gold. Also a model and singer, she has walked in New York Fashion week and released her first single “Grow” produced by Little Bird Big Sound in 2022. She is currently working on her next song. She is a student in the honors theatre program at Somerset County VoTech High School.
BRIANNA DEE HOFFMAN
LAYLA. Brianna Dee Hoffman has been acting, singing, and dancing since the age of 4. Most recently, she completed a commercial for Netflix House, appeared in multiple Scholastic book trailers, and performed as Cady in Mean Girls Jr., Annie in Annie Jr., and Anna in Frozen Jr. She was also thrilled to appear in The Quiet Between. She has performed at the New Jersey Devils/New York Islanders halftime show at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ with her touring company, One Voice Vocal Studio. In New York, she has taken the stage as a solo artist at Times Square Main Stage and performed at Radio City Music Hall, opening for the Rockettes.
DAVID
METREVELI
JOHN. David Metreveli is a New York–based actor with a passion for storytelling across film and television. Known for his strong on-screen presence and natural charisma, he brings authenticity and emotional depth to his roles. David’s work reflects a growing commitment to the craft, with experience in both narrative and commercial projects. Outside of acting, he has a background in visual art and music, which continues to influence his creative approach. He is currently SAG-Eligible and continues to pursue opportunities in film and television.
FARAH
SAFAKAMAL
VIVIAN. Farah Safakamal is a New York–based actor and a senior in the Drama Studio at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School. She has performed in a wide range of theater productions, most recently appearing as Lucetta in “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” and Llord in “Noises Off.” Her on-camera work includes roles in The Sultans of Queens, Evil Lives Here, and the feature film Echoes of Pomegranate. Farah is passionate about storytelling that captures subtle, emotional moments. She has trained at NYFA and Wingspan Summer Conservatory, with a background in dance including tap, jazz, and ballet. In addition to acting, she is fluent in Farsi and loves bringing depth and authenticity to every role. Farah plans to continue pursuing acting in college and beyond, with the goal of telling stories that resonate and inspire.
